This was a big hitting with my family and was absolutely delicious. I took note of some of the other reviewers and decided to use the immersion blender to puree nearly ingredients. I left out the corn and red peppers and turkey and added them afterward the puree. Information technology was a lovely consistency and looked really pretty. I used Trader Joe's roasted corn (frozen), which is a go-to favorite for this flavor profile. Also garnished with cilantro and scallions instead of parsley and scallions. Will admittedly be making this once more!

Only made this for the second time. I puree the soup before adding the corn and chicken, which makes for a wonderful consistency -- and so yous don't need to add the one-half-and-one-half.

Followed the recipe as verbal as possible with the exception of omitting the half-and-one-half. Per a proposition in some other review, we topped the chowder with avocado and cilantro and served with corn chips. The season was balanced only seemed to exist lacking. A very nourishing, delicious and comforting meal. In the hereafter, I volition puree the vegetables a scrap to brand for a thicker consistency and perhaps add together a fleck more cumin.

Excellent fall/winter soup exactly as written. (Although I used a whole jalapeño instead of half. Next time I might apply two. ;)

I just put the pot with the soup away and the smell of it fabricated me hungry all once more. I added some turnips I had bases on one of the reviewer's comments and skipped on the jalapeño so it is not besides spicy for the kids. The flavour was absolutely delicious! Saved this to my favorites and ship it to my friends and parents. Highly recommend.

Excellent.

This turned out cracking! Made it every bit directed in the recipe, except I added two packets of Goya ham flavoring. Topping each serving with the salary, light-green onions, and parsley is a must - without it the soup would be missing something.
-
Actually first-class, and adaptable to what y'all have on hand – I used parsnips instead of sweet potatoes and padron peppers instead of bong and jalapeño. it was actually splendid.
-
Delicious every bit written. Too delicious westward/o the one-half-and-half and perchance sub fat-free Greek yogurt to decrease fatty if yous desire creamy soup. As suggested by reviewers, avocado and tortilla chips for serving would be a dainty touch.

I institute this recipe and fabricated it. Followed the recipe exactly due west/the exception of using smoked turkey leftovers & 8 pieces of bacon. Lots of flavors!

This is a succulent soup. I decided to purée it before adding the chicken and corn, rather than leaving it sparse with chunks of irish potato. Fabricated it for a post-Thanksgiving football game party. Got raves.

I had to modify the recipe to keep it kosher, and to go with what I had in the house, only it even so turned out great. I skipped the bacon and cream, bong pepper and jalapeno, and only used one tin of chilis. Information technology all the same had a flake of spice to it, but not too much to where the sensitive couldn't eat information technology. I added celery to bulk it upwards. I'll for certain brand it over again. Really nice, hearty, and comforting.

This was a big hitting in my family unit. I love corn chowder, and take tried so many recipes. This one is a keeper. I dear the heat from the jalapenos, and the sweet potatoes for a twist. Excellent!

Nosotros love information technology! I was looking for a recipe to use left over turkey and corn, since that is what I had. This turned out to be a winner. Everyone likes it. I toook it to church building for pot luck and all enjoyed it. We don't consume pork, then nosotros sprinkle Bac' Ums on tiptop instead and I apply some smoked salt while making the recipe. This is a great "condolement food" recipe, and without the bacon, is quite salubrious. This will be the 3rd time I've fabricated information technology in the last 6 months.

Been snowed in for most a calendar week and meal options are dwindling. This recipe has been on my "try" listing for awhile and so went alee today using what I had on manus. I used a leftover pork chop instead of poultry. No jalapeno so used a salubrious dose of cayenne. No carrots in the refrigerator. Used yellow pepper instead of red. Lesser line, it was still very good. The combination of salty bacon, cumin and rut from the peppers worked very well. I think next time I'll add more sweetness murphy. I did add half-and-half considering I happened to have some, but suspect this would be good without it.
